We aren't from the area but were in Chorley dropping off Christmas gifts to a family member. We had a quick look to see where we could get some dinner before the long drive home and found Lockdown while walking along the highstreet. Genuinely one of the nicest meals me and my wife have had out in recent memory. The service was great, the decor and music was fantastic and the food was on another level. We gave compliments to the chef, it was honestly amazing. We thought the portion might be on the smaller side, so ordered a few sides but they were such generous portions (see the photo.) The PB&J burger and the Cheese and Onion Pie loaded fries were a particular highlight! We also both agreed that the fried chicken was probably the best cooked chicken we'd ever had. Honestly, I think we may travel back just to have another meal here, absolutely a must try if you're in the area!
Lovely food, always HOT on arrival with plenty of flavor... sadly the hotpot burger has gone, but that's OK, the Chicken was a great replacement.... The staff were attentive, but without being in your face, and right in the centre of town
This place is a fantastic addition to Chorley. Just the sort of place that accommodates everyone,, especially if you love burgers. My second time there, and there was a slight wait for food this time, but my god is it worth the wait when it arrived. And the black pudding fries, just sensational. Can't recommend this place enough. Cameron, you've done a fine job!
Amazing food, massive portions, limitless drink selection. This is worth every penny! Definitely recommend the onion rings.
Accidently found this gem wandering past a week ago and decided I'd come back this week and I'm glad I did! Love the atmosphere, friendly staff and although I was hoping for a big kahuna burger (say what again...) I was still pleasantly surprised by the PB & J burger along with the sweetcorn ribs. I'll definitely be returning and suggesting this place to others!
